The reconversion of a XIX° century brick factory in choreographic development centre, dedicated to artistic research and presentation, and dance hub for the wider audience was carried out by Philippe Prost architect studio.
A body, similarly to a building, is imagined and forged: dance and architecture come together to work for their mutual interest.
Daniel Favier, director of Centre de développement chorégraphique du Val-de-Marne and Philippe Prost, architect, talk about La Briqueterie and what has taken to build a project and a dedicated venue for dance.
